Experiments with weather balloons at schools in Saxony and Thuringia
Since 2019, the Dr. Hans Riegel Foundation has been funding the "NaWiSchool" association to conduct workshops on weather balloon measurements at four school locations in eastern Germany. With this project, we are convinced that we can combine the pupils' interest in environmental topics and regional references with the fun of tinkering and crafting. By 2024, several eastern German schools will hold the workshops prepared and accompanied by NaWiSchool. The focus is on Saxony and Thuringia.
